VA1298 CSA #1 Stone 2 Horz Pair (4-Margin but with just a slight bit of gum toning) tied by the Leesburg, Va double circle CDS and also the matching Grid Cancel used by Leesburg. The postmark is weakly struck but is still easily identifiable, but the date is not apparent. Very small but complete and very clean ladies cover addressed to Miss M. L. Presbury Early Grove Marshall County, Mississippi. Usage would be during the first part of 1862 paying the 10c rate over 500 miles from Virginia to Mississippi. $375.00
