by the Lake City, Fla CDS 25 NOV (1863)
and addressed to Mrs. Winston
Stephens, Thomasville, Georgia Care Mr. Jerrod Everette. Winston J. T.
Stephens (1829-1864) enlisted 10/19/1861 as a 1st Lieut Co B
2nd Fla Cav
and was promoted Capt 4/19/1862. He was killed at Cedar Creek
(Jacksonville, Fla) 3/1/1864. Cover displays both usages very well with
the
