| RT41 | Memphis, Ten Handstamp PAID 5 Dietz Type IB 18 JUN 1861 Tennessee Independent State. Addressed to His Excellency Isham G. Harris, Nashville, Tenn. The addressee was the Governor of Tennessee. Cover from western Tennessee to central Tennessee which were areas very Southern in their sympathies as opposed to East Tennessee which was intensely Union.
