Julia F. Wilds (1813-1876), widow of Peter Abel Wilds (1801-1851) with 5 children, is listed on the 1860 Federal Census as a planter in Darlington SC. Wilds Hall, the family home, still stands in Darlington County and is a listed historic property on the National Register.
