Addressed to New York City (business correspondence). Very early use of a Confederate Patriotic Cover prior to the firing on Fort Sumter from a state that had not as yet seceded as Tennessee would not secede for another two months. Stamp with minor faults and sealed opening edge tears still a very clean cover and excellent presession use of a Confederate Patriotic Cover. Ex- Boshwit. $1,500.00
