| Soldiers “Due 10” manuscript with the Jackson, Miss CDS with a MAR date. Very coarse brown paper homemade adversity cover wth a railroad address to Mrs. M. E. Yeates, Tibbee Station M & O RR (Mobile & Ohio Railroad), Miss. Endorsed at upper left “W Robertson Co E Woods Regt.” The unit was the 1st Miss Cav also known as Wirt Adams Regt. That would date the cover to the 1863 Vicksburg Campaign. A little minor foxing and part of backflap missing, otherwise Very Fine. |
