| Handstamp PAID 5c(ms) with the Darien, Ga CDS 20 NOV. Cover from the Kell Correspondence addressed to Mrs. John M. Kell Care Nathan C. Munroe Esqr, Macon, Ga. The addressee was the wife of Comdr John M. Kell CSN who was the Executive Officer of the CSS Alabama. However, the address is not in Cmdr Kell’s hand. Minor corner mounting stains and backflap opening tears, but otherwise a clean cover. |
