Coarse paper cover from the Cobb Correspondence with a Military Address to Capt John Cobb, Athens, Georgia. Capt John Addison Cobb (1838-1925) served for a time as ADC to his father, Maj-Gen Howell Cobb until his resignation 9/27/1862 at which time he returned home to Athens.
