balloon CDS 12 MAY (1862). Addressed to Mr. James O. Harris Care of
Thomas Ballard, Ivy Depot, Albemarle Co., Va. Not a commonly seen brown
postmark and brown postmarks are not cataloged on the 5c Green
Lithograph stamp. Reduced about 8mm at left. Very clean cover with a
nice stamp and a very nice scarce postmark. |
