CSA #11 (AD) (4-Margin) off-cover  cancelled by the left edge of the oval handstamp “Prisoner’s Letter Examined Fort Delaware, Del” (Type A in the new CSA catalog). The stamp could only have come from a through-the-lines POW cover but received no other cancel besides the Union examiner’s handstamp. The stamp has not been removed from its exhibit mount and has been affixed to a card with the handstamp partially reconstructed for display purposes.
