CSA #6 Single Use Prior to the Rate Change (4-Margin but close at the top) tied by the Savannah, Ga Paid CDS with a JUN 1862 date. From the Manigault Correspondence addressed to Mr. Louis Manigault, Augusta, Georgia. Very clean cover. Compare the handwriting of the address on this cover with cover HB4 above. It is the same handwriting. There are no contents. From the handwriting, one can discern that the cover is from William Capers (1816-1864), the overseer at the Manigault plantation "East Hermitage" on the Savannah river.
