| Soldiers Due 10c Handstamp with the small double circle Little Rock, Ark CDS Dietz Type 2 MAY 1863. Endorsed at left “F. R. McMahon private Co H 13 Tex Regt Cav, Youngs Brigade, H. E. McCullochs Divs.” Addressed to the soldier’s wife, Mrs. M. E. McMahon, Burkville Newton County, Texas. Very small but complete cover with only a small part of backflap missing and an excellent restoration of the right upper corner. This particular Little Rock “Due 10c” handstamp is a scarce mark. |
